 Endorse approved for Ornamentals
Endorse Wettable Powder Turf Fungicide Now Approved For Use on Ornamentals*

The US-EPA has recently approved the use of Endorse Wettable Powder Turf Fungicide on all ornamental plants for the control of Botrytis, Rhizoctonia and Alternaria.  In addition, recently released 2ee recommendations** add powdery mildew, downy mildew, anthracnose, Curvularia and apple scab to list of diseases controlled by Endorse.

You’ve already got it in your barn for fighting tough turf diseases like anthracnose and brown patch on turf, now you can use it to protect your ornamentals as well.  Using Endorse on ornamentals has many advantages including its unique mode of action, its translaminar movement within the plant and minimal leaf residue.  As the only Group 19 fungicide currently being marketed for use on ornamentals, Endorse is a great choice for any rotational program.   And as an EPA biopesticide, Endorse has a low risk profile compared to other fungicides on the market, which makes it an ideal choice all around the golf course.

Over the coming months, we will transition to our new packaging containing directions for use for ornamentals.  In the meantime, many of you will find yourselves with packages of Endorse containing directions for use on turf only.

If your product label contains directions for use on turf only, you must have a copy of the supplemental label containing directions for use on ornamentals in your possession at the time of the application of Endorse to any ornamentals.  To download a copy of the supplemental labeling permitting use of Endorse on ornamentals click hereNote: This supplemental labeling for ornamentals has not been approved in AZ, CA or NY.
