Reminder: New Thiophanate Methyl Limits in Effect

Another season of turf disease brings another reminder for all those using the 3336 family of products, including 3336 PLUS (and any other thiophanate methyl product): new federally mandated seasonal limits on thiophanate methyl (TM) use and new rate restrictions are in effect. Be sure to read the label on the product in your barn. Pesticide regulations state that you must use a product consistent with its labeling. If you have ‘old’ label product, you are not subject to seasonal limits or rate restrictions. If you have ‘new’ label product, you must observe the new limits. These limits are not unique to 3336, but apply to all products containing TM.

You can minimize the impact of the new TM limits on your spray program, while increasing your length of control, with 3336 PLUS. A re-engineered formulation of 3336, 3336 PLUS gives you more options for use under the new TM limits, while also delivering longer control. If you haven’t already done so, contact your local representative and ask about switching your 3336 applications to 3336 PLUS.

3336 is an important part of any disease control program. Get the most you can out of this important molecule under the new federally mandated use limits, find out more about 3336 PLUS by contacting your local Cleary representative.
