Torque Fungicide Recommended for Fairy Ring Prevention

Cleary Chemical announces a FIFRA 2ee Recommendation for the use of Torque Fungicide in the preventative and curative management of Fairy Ring caused by various Basidiomycete fungi.
Previous research conducted by Dr. Lee Miller and Dr. Lane Tredway at North Carolina State University indicates that preventative applications of Tebuconazole timed with soil temperature cues are effective
in the management of fairy ring. This 2ee recommendation has been submitted to all states where Torque is currently registered. For additional information and directions for this use, please download
the 2ee recommendation here or contact your local Cleary representative for a copy of this document.

New TORQUE™ Fungicide

This new, easy-mixing water-based suspension formula, contains 3.6 lb AI/gallon and provides highly effective and long lasting disease management. “TORQUE is a game changer for the industry, and will finally provide superintendents with the superiority of Tebuconazole”, said Rick Fletcher, Director of Product Development. “This active ingredient has a long development history and excellent track

New Affirm WDG Turf and Ornamental Fungicide

Cleary Chemical introduced new Affirm™ WDG Turf and Ornamental Fungicide at the 2010 GIS in
San Diego, CA as a replacement for Endorse WP. Affirm WDG represents a new 11.3% Polyoxin D formulation, which is 4.5 times more concentrated than Endorse. This new, easy mixing WDG formula provides the same effective disease management previously developed by Cleary for turf and
ornamental uses, at a much lower, 2.4 lb per acre use rate. “In turf, the new 2.4 lbs per acre rate will greatly assist superintendents by reducing the solids suspended in their application equipment,” said
Rick Fletcher, Director of Product Development. “This will be a huge benefit to the many
superintendents that tank mix products on a regular basis.” “In addition, this will be a great benefit
to ornamental growers looking to reduce plant residues.” Affirm provides a unique mode of action
and is labeled for major turf and ornamental diseases.

"LEGEND, with our unique RAINKOTE formulation, displays the EPA signal word of CAUTION, making it one of the few Chlorothalonil products that can make this claim in the industry. In addition, it allows Cleary to further expand our product offerings and better define our resistance management program
for the turf and ornamental markets”. LEGEND is labeled for major turf diseases such as Dollar Spot, Brown Patch, Brown Ring or Waitea Patch, Basal Rot Anthracnose, and Snow Molds.
